YOUNG- MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.
An entertainment of a most successful kind took place last night at the rooms of the Young Men's Christian"Association in* Welles-ley-st. The' Rev. Mr. Bree occupied the chair. The programme was of a miscellaneous kind, the readings and recitations being ably rendered by Messrs. Fleming, Battley, and Mann. The fantasia, " Canary birds," played by Madame Moller and one of her pupils, gave much satisfaction, and had to be repeated; and the duet, " When a little farm we keep," was charmingly sung by Madame Moller and Mr. Howden, and rapturously encored; the glees, by Messrs. Henderson, Bartley, Howden, and Skinner, were much admired, and received great applause. Altogether the entertainment was an eminent success, and promises well for the series of which it was the first.
