Captain Copping.—The faTorito barque Bella Mary, in command of our old friend, Captain Copping, will leave for Hobavt Town via Newcastle on Monday next. Upon arrival at Hobart Town, Captain Copping will take the command of the Harriet McGregor, a new barque built at Hobart Town, which he takes home to be classed. --We understand that the friends of Capt. Copping had intended giving him a farewell dinner at the Occidental this evening, which he has most reluctantly been compelled to decline, owing to pre.vious arrangements. Captain Copping has been for many years a most successful trader between Hobart Town and this port, Bnd during that time he has, by his gentlemanly bearing, and strictly upright manner, earned for himself many friends. For our oyn part, we can only endorse the sentiments expressed by all who have known him. and tfe most heartily wish him a; prosperous and happy voyage home, and hope in about twelve months hence to have the pleasure of seeing him again in our midst.
