His, Honor took, his seat, on the Bench at eleven o'clock.

John• .Brown.—Mr. H. H. Lusk for the bankrupt. Mr. Beveridge for the creditors.— The case had been adjourned for the production of accounts. —Mr. Beveridge. said the accounts had only been furuished a few minutes since.-r-His Honor said he would not give any bankrupt his discharge until he had furnished accounts in full time for the creditors to see'and examine ithem. The public time was wasted by these constant adjournments, for no other reason than that there was an unnecessary delay on the part of ', bankrupts in furnishing accounts. Frank Towers.—lnabilities, £200 3s. ; assets, £&2. —One debt for one guinea had been proved.—This insolvent, who has been before'the- Court for some months in order to prove ;;tko necessary, notices, received his discharge. John Peteb King.—Deed of arrangement. ■h-Mr, Brook'field appeared, for the arranging

debtor.—His Honor said that all parties appeared anxious to wind-up the estate. That being so, he would make the order declaring complete execution of the deed. Francis Forceatt. —Deed of arrangement. —Mr. Hesketh. appeared for the arranging debtor. In this case a partner died on the 22nd of September (under circumstances of a painful character, to which, at the time, extensive publicity was given), and the surviving partner (Forceau), filed the deed. —His Honor r-aid the deceased partner was not represented in any war. He thought the administrator of the deceased partner should also be before the Court in some way. —Adjourned. John Atawood Chapman.—Mr. Beveridge appeared for the bankrupt. —The bankrupt was a mining agent at Grahanistown. Liabilities were set down as follows : —At the Thames, £119 old debts ; contracted in Otago, £274 11s. 4d. The assets consisted of a section of land in Christchurch (disputed) ; mining agency debt, £175 (worthless) ; and some debts due to the bankrupt in Otago.— —The Court declared the bankrupt had passed his last examination, and gave him his discharge. "WiLLOtronuT Henare " Taipari. —"The bankrupt was in partnership with Mr. James Mackay, jiin. Mr. Whitaker appeared for the bankrupt; Mr. J. B. Russell appeared for a creditor. Liabilities : Personal, £868 165.; partnership, £9186 19s. lid. ; total, £10,055 15s. lid. Assets: Personal book debts, £1120 ; land interest iv various blocks, £130 ; mining interest, £5; total, £1255. Assets: Partnership book debts, £435 7s. 6d. ; land (freehold), at Korokoro, Hui Karetu, Tawhitirahi, and Shortland, mortgaged to the Bank of Australasia, £1600; land (leasehold) —ha1 1 lea3e of Paeroa Block, Ohinemuri, £2500; mining interest, £1822 155.; leu shares in Hauraki Saw Mill Company, £500 ; office of Mackay, Taipara, and Co., £500 ; incomplete purchases of land, £1000; Waiwhakaurunga forest, partly purchased, £450 ; office furniture, £45. The saw mill', shares, office, incomplete purchases, and forest land were held undar bill of sale to the Bank of Australasia. The bankrupt was examined at great length by Mr. J. B. Russell.
