PROVINCIAL COUNCIL.

The principal subject of interest on the notice paper of the Provincial Council, for this evening, is the address in reply to the Superintendent's speech, which will be moved by Mr. Beveridge, and will probably elicit considerable discussion on the matters included or not included in the speech. The other subjects are, a motion for returns relating to expenditure on the Goldfiolda ; for £2500 for cutting a swag track from Monnatairi to Coromandel; for the re-building of Botany Bridge; and a question regarding the intentions of the Goverement in relation to the sick and destitute.
