The s.s. Auckland, expected here about the 30th instant, will be dispatched for the Fijis on the sfeh prox. The Auckland will leave immediately on the arrival of the steamers Airedale and Phoebe from the South, expected here on that day. The favorite new schooner Merlin is advertised to leave for the Fijis to-morrow. We understand that most t)f her cargo is awaiting shipment, and that several passengers are already offering. The p.s. Samson arrived from Rnssell to-day, with a few tons gum and nine passengers. She reports the arrival of the whaling barque Live Oak.
The brig C< ntaur has just arrived ia harbour from Lyttelton, with grain. A schooner, supposed to be the Hebe, is signalled as we go to press.
