A GERMAN VESSEL TAKES REFUGE IN THE MANUKAU.

The outer waves of the Franco-Prussian war are surging in this direction. Yesterday, a German schooner, hailing from Hamburg, and named the Sawai, commanded by Captain Schmidt, put into the Manukau for protection, ;in consequence of the breaking oul of the war in Europe, and the presence of French cruisers in the Pacific.
