THE CITY HALL
One of the most pleasing entertainments ever given in this city is proceeding nightly in the City Hall. Mr. Cotterell's powers arr well known in Auckland, but owing to the quiet and unobtrusive manner in which they have been announced, the attendance on the opening' night'was very meagre. The admirers of Mr. Cotterell's ability need see nothing in that. He will soon make himself known ; and so great is the versatility "of "talent displayed by him that we shall soon see crowded houses at the City Hall. Those present last night were fairly overcome by the irresistible drollery of the mimic; and the multitude of characters assumed with such rapidity, and impersonated with such thorough appreciation, kept interest unflagging from the opening to the close. We strongly commend a visit to the City Hall to all who wish a thoroughly delightful evening.
