We observe that Mr. J. A. Pond, formerly pharmaceutical dispenser to Dr. 0. F. Fischer, has commenced a business on his own account in the premise* recently vacated by Mr. H. Kohn, jeweller, Queen-street. From MrPond's long experience with Dr. Fischer, the w^R-knowp'hpmoeopathist., -we feel justified iQ saying that all prescriptions entrusted to his care will be careful y and accurately prepared.

. We wish to draw attention to the new and highly serviceable style of ovens made by Mr. H. H. Smith, and noticed in another .column. They are smoke-consuming, and from various other qualifications adapting them to colonial -wants, they will, in all probability, command an extensive demand. Their peculiarities are deserving of inspection.
