Penttkenness.—J. Jones, W. Brown, Hema, H. Kelshan, A. Grafton and H. Patterson for first offences were fined in the usual manner. Assaulting the Police.—H. Patterson was further charged with assaulting the Police. Seargent Egan deposed to the facts of the case, as having occurred when he was taking a man to the lock-up. Pined 40a. and costs, or to be imprisoned 14 days.
