THE ORATORIO.

The Oratorio "Elijah" was produced last night, according to announcement, at the Music Hall, in Symonds street. There was a large and fashionable audience, who expressed satisfaction throughout by warm and prolonged applause. The presence of Lady Bowen and the officers of the ' Resaca' lent additional interest to the proceedings. The solos falling mainly to the lot of the members of the Carandini family, were beautifully rendered, and the choruses creditably performed. The skill and care bestowed by Mr. Joseph Brown in preparation and conducting, of course, contributed largely to the success of th« Oratorio.
