A Man named McCaul fell off the Moanatairi tramway tins morning. The poor fellow's hip is out of joint, and he has received other injuries. He was at once conveyed to the hospital.
Tlie Chairman of the Mining Board resigned his seat this morning. He refuses to allow himself to be nominated for the Provincial Council.
Mr. John Williamson made a very interesting speech at the Hibernian Society's festival last evening, which was a complete success.
No mining neves of importance
