OBITUARY.
The suddenness of Charles Dickens' death produced a profound sensation and universal grief: he was interred in Westminster Abbey. Thomas Nunnerly, the eminent Leeds surgeon ; Cyrus Redding ; Mr. Linklater, solicitor; Mr. Samuel Laing, jun., Cannon Mackreth, Colonel George M'Donnell, Bishop Herber's widow, Sir Norman Lockhart, Rev. Bramwell Smith, of Birmingham, by suicide.
