CONCERT AT THE MUSIC HALL.
There was a very large audience at the concert given at the Music Hall last evening, by Madame and the Misses Carandini, assisted by members of the Auckland Choral Society. The piece selected was Mendelssohn's masterpiece, " Elijah," and never before have Aye experienced such a treat. The solos were beautifully rendered by the Carandinis, Mr. Sherwin, and a member of the Society, and the choruses, with the exception of one or two, were exceedingly well done. The vocalists were ably supported by a full orchestra, under the direction of Mr. J. Browne, conductor of the Society. We regret that our space precludes a lengthened report.
