STEAMER SIGNALLED. A.s we go to press a steamer is signalled outside Tiritiri. The steamship Auckland, from Sydney; s.s. Tauranga, from Bay of Islands; and s.s. Go-Ahead, from Wangarei, are now due. ARRIVAL OF THE 'JOHN PENK' The e.s. John Perm arrived in the Manultau from Wanganui and the West Coast tin's morning. The s.f. Rangatira arrived at Wunganui from Wellington on the 20tb, and her mails &c, were transhipped and brought on by the John Perm. Wo have later Wellington anrl Wanganui papers, but they contain very little news of interest. We make the fo'lowing extracts :— Wanganui, July 19. A Liliputian river steamer is being builfc hora by Mr. Hensdn. It is to be fitted with an 8 horse-power engine.
