SUPREME COURT.—Bankruptcy.
This Day. (Before His Honor Sir G. A. Amey, Chief Justice.) RE JACKSON KEDDELL. Mr. Beveridge appeared for the bankrupt. There was no opposition. The liabilities were £2,049. The assetj were set down at £854. The bankrupt passed his last examination, and received his final order. RE DANIEL ORME. Air. Beveridge appeared for the bankrupt. There was no opposition. The bankrupt passed his last examination, and was discharged. RE BENJAMIN HILL. _ The hearing of this case was, on the application of Air. Rce3, adjourned to the 11th of August. RE ALFRED GEORGE HOWARD. Mr. Wynn appeared for the bankrupt. Mr. Buddie said the case would be opposed. Mr. Wynn : lhere should be some proof of debt. Mr. Buddie: The creditor lives down South. He has been written to, but no reply has been received. Further hearing adjourned to the 11th of August. RE HENRY BUSH. Mr. Beveridge appeared for the bankrupt. The liabilities amounted to £160. His Honor said that it appeared strange that a person should go through the whole process of the bankruptcy laws for so small an estate. It would be nearly as well for the bankrupt to see whether he would not ultimately be in a position to pay the whole of his liabilities. The bankrupt- passed his last examination, and was discharged. Adjourned Cases. The following cases were adjourned to the 11th of August:—Thomas White, John White, R. H. Bartlett, Samuel Alpe, Richard McGee, Alexander Gillam.
