PROVINCIAL GAZETTE.
A Provincial Government Gazette was published yesterday, of which the following is an abstract. The attention of legal managers is called to sections 13 and 14 of the Limited Liability Act Amendment Act, 1869. Leases are refused to the following:—D. Garvey for Mount Macedon; N. W. Massey for Proof Positive Extension; J. McGregor for Bell Rock Extended; John Goodall for Hollands Park, Sleeping Beauty, and Kuranui Star; 'A. Thompson for Great Australian. The Boundaries of the Titirangi, Ararimu North, and Weiti and one Tree Hill highway districts are amended. The boundaries of the Manukau highway district are notified; the trustees of the Matakohe and Kaio dis • tricts are gazetted ; the first meeting of the Titirangi district is to be held at Mr. Pugh's residence, on the 18th June, at noon ; the elections of Mr. B. Ireland for Mount Wellington district, of Mr. J. Masten for Ruatangata, and Mr. R. Bishop for Howick districts are gazetted; counsel's interpretation of 28th and 30th clauses of " The Highways Act, 1867," is published (we published this interpretation last week); Mr. Alexander Beveridge is appointed Harbour-master for the port of Hokianga; Mr. W. Cracknell is appointed collector of tolls on Grahamstown wharf.
