Shortland-street. Mails will close as under:— For Thames, this day, at 5.30 p.m., and to morrow, at 1.30 p.m., and 5.30 p.m.
For Napier and the Southern Provinces of New Zealand, Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia, per s.s. Taranaki, tomorrow, the 28th inst.,at 1 p.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Napier station, will be received till 1.30 p.m. For Russell and Kawakawa, per s.s. Tauranga, to-morrow, the 28th inst., at _-30 p.m. For Sydney and Brisbane, per Kate, tomorrow, at 3 p.m. For Coromandel, on Monday, 30th inst., at 11.30 a.m.
Mails for Sandwich Islands, British Columbia, North and South America, United States, (fee., &c, and United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be made up at tbis office, per mail packet Wonga Wonga, on Monday, the 6th proximo.
