Mr. L. W. Eaton sold by auction this morning, apples 5d per lb. ; pears, 2_d; butter, Is; bacon, 9d.
Messrs. C. Arthur and Son sold by auction, at their mart, to-day, a quantity of seasonable drapery, when the following prices were obtained : —Cotton regatta skirts, 13s 4d dozen ; serge vests, 2s each ; knickerbocker suits, 5s 6d; trousers, 3s 6d to 6s 6d ; polkas, 4s 6d to 4s 9d ; wool shirting, 9d to 9£d ; men's suits, 26s ; men's coats, 16s; yhite flannel, Is 2d per yard ; black alpacca, 10Jd; prints, 3|d.
