Owen j 1 package, 1. H. Hall, 1 package, Bing, Harris, and Co. — J. S. Macfarlane, agent. The s.s. Star of the South will sail for Napier on Friday next. The s.s. Ahuriri is expected in the Manukau to-day, from Southern ports. Twilight.—The clipper schooner Twilight, how a regular trader between this port and Kaipara, arrived at the latter place on the 29th ult., after a capital passage of 46 hours from Auckland. This vessel has recently made some very smart runs to Kaipara, and so long as she continues to run with the same regularity, the settlers of this district will not require steam communication.
