Tuesday afternoon
At Or. Sibbin's auction mart, to-day, there was a lai-ge attendance of buyers. Apples, 30 boxes, sold from 6^d to Bel per lb., 70 kits of onions sold at l|d to l£d per lb. The sugar in bond was withdrawn. A lot of grocery goods brought good prices. Mr. Charles Daria sold by auction to-day, at his mart, the following properties in the estate of Simon Lipstine, at the undermentioned prices :—Lot 1, £7 ; lot 2, £10 10s ; lot 3, £5; lot 4, £25; lot 5, £3 ; lot 6, £1 5s ; lot 7, £110.
