THE MINING BOARD.
We are glad to be able to announce that his Honor the Superintendent has agreed to allow the Mining Board to secure clerical assistance to the amount of £20 or £30. Mr. Gi-rove, chairman of the Mining Board, waited upon his Honor on business connected with^ the Board, and obtained the above accomiuo-' dation for the Board. His Honor also agreed to give the services of a Revising Barrister whenever the Board have completed the bylaws. We are quite sure the miners will be glad to learn that his Honor is disposed to deal in a fan1 and straightforward way with the :Mining Board, and not to take the advice oft men who would fain see the SuperinteD: dent a€: enmity with the members.— lbid,
