SnORTiAND-STBEET. Mails will close as under :— For Shortland, ar\d Coromandel this day, at 5.30 p.m. and on 29tli inst., 11.30 a.m. and 5 30 p.m. For Napier, per s.s. Star of the South, "on the 29th inst., 4 p. m. For Sydney and the Australian Colonies, per s.s. Hero, on Wednesday next, 30th instant, at 2 p.m. For Tauranga, per s.s. Tauranga, on the 30th inst., at 3.30 p.m.
Mails per s.s. Wonga Woga will close on Saturday, 3rd of April, as under : — For Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, West Indies, South America, &c, at 12.30 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 1 p.m. For Money Orders, Registered Letters, and Newspapers, at 11 a.m. Late Letters for the United Kingdom (bearing a fee of 6d. in addition to the postage) will be received till 1.30 p.m.
Note. —The rates of postage chargrable on letters sent via San Francisco are the same as those on letters sent via Suez. S. B. Biss, Chief Postmaster.
