The principal exports to Sydney for the month were: —Bar and rod iron, 452 tons ; hoop iron, 73 tons; plate iron, 104 tons; pig iron, 100 tons; sheet iron, 15 tons; galvanised iron, 129 tons wh*e and wire rope ;48 tons; linseed oil, 5292 gallons; rapa oil, 560 gallons ; olive oil, 812 gallons ; woolpacks, £865 ; cornsacks, £2935 ; gunpowder, 151 cwt.; tobacco, 47,477 lbs; lbs.; brandy, 28,408 gallons; rum, 34,069 gallons; red wine, 109 gallons ; white wine, 6,412 gallons ; beer (bulk), 2,829 barrels ; beer (glass), 984 barrels; white salt, 191 tons; candles (British), 120 cwt. — (foreign), 557 cwt.; currants, 460 cwt.; cheese, 11 cwt.; bacon and hams, 225 cwt.; malt, 906 quarters; fish (salt), £303.
