Beyond the few sales which take p\ace for local requirements, business is at a standstill. Values are not. much altered no ninally ; in forced sales, however, considerably less than tht; market -quotations would have to be submitted to. Wheat—Thß ma-kft is in a very depressed condition, sales being difficult to effect. Prices nominally 4s 6d to 4s 7d bushel ; aeoond quali' y, 4 s to 4s Id; thick wheat. 3s G.I tv 3s 7d.
