Report for the week ending Friday ovenintr. tbe 27th October :— Business in the grain trade continues in nrcciso'v the same dormant condition as ho preceding week The crops are looking exceedingly healthy ; harvest prospects for the time being are particularly good, the late rains have exactly supplied the want that was f It. Wheat—The market is exceedingly dull, first class milling is not saleable at oyer 4s Gd per bushel; second quahty, 4s to 4s 3d ; chick wheat, 3s Gd to 3s 9.1 Oaf—Firft class milling samples are not in the market; feed quality varies from 3s Id to 3s 3d per bushel. _ r{ ar ]ey—The season having so tar aa~ vanced.malting barley islittle sought after. RefHv first class samples are, however, not obtainable. Prices nominal. Second quality malting, 4s to 4s 6d per bushel; feed ftnality. 3s 4d to 3s 7d. Potatoes—The market is almost bare, but tho prices asked by holders are so exorbitant that it completely stops all busi-
ness Cheese and Butter—Bd to BJd for tho former; lid to Is for the latter.
