AKAROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Special Meeting,

A special meeting of this Council wan held on Wednesday last. Present—His Worship the Mayor and Crs Waeckerlo, Scott, (autborlot, and Bruce.

His Worship explained the meeting was called to confirm levels in Joiie street.

Or Waeckerle moved—''Thai the proposed It vela oi: that portion oi' Joiits street lyinsr between the Beach road and southwards to Brucc'a terrace, and snown on plans prepared by Mr W. D. Willuns, be adopted, and that the same be accepted by this Council as the permanent levels of that portion of the said street." Seconded by Or Waeckerle and carried unanimously.

Phis concluded the business of the special meeting.
