CRICKET.
The match on the Akaroa Cricket Clnb ground on Saturday was " Colonials v. the World " As will be seen by the following score, the first innings ot" each side is concluded, and the " World " have lost three wickets for 53 runs in tho second innings. The bowling of Spurr and Tosswill was very fair in the fir t innings of the " World," i»ut in the second they were both off the spot, and were very much knocked about. Hamilton again played good cricket. The match will be concluded next Saturday. We were glad to notice a sprinkling of ladies on the ground. The following are the scores :—
