THE SYDNEY REVENUE
The New South Wales revenue last quarter amounted to £1.750,000. Ati in— crease of £-11,500 as compared with the September quarter of 1881. Tlie principal increase , : are in Customs and Railways. The revenue for the }"ear ended 30th September waa £7,250,000. an increase of £878 000 ns co.mp.irod with the corresponding pe.iod of 1880 81.
