Report for (he week ending Friday evening, the 15b September:— There is no change to report in the state of the market during the past week ; values in near'y all lines are practically unaltered. Business continues extremely dull. Whoat—First-class milling quality, 4s 10.1 to 5s per bushel f.o.b. ; second quality, 4s 3d to 4s 6d ; chick wheat, 3s to 3s 9d ; teed samples, 5s 3d to 5s 6d per bushel. Oats—Prime milling, 3, 31 to 3s4d per bushel ; feed, 3s Id to 3s 2d. Barley—Prime malting quality continues in fair demand ; holders are asking 4s 7d to 5s for this quality. Consumers appear reliß-tant to give the moinyin state of things. Business is not brisk. Second quality malting is almost entirely neglected. Feed, 3s 2d to 3s 3d per bushel f.ob.

Grass Seeds—The market presents th ? same features as in tbe preceding week, sellers plentiful, buyers scarce. First-class seed is still held at from 4s 6d to 5s per busbel ; indifferently cleaned, 3s to 3s 6d. Potatoes—Last week.s prices have been sustained throughout this, 42s 6d to 43s 6d being tbe rates tit which business has been dorre. Cheese and Butter—Tbe former is worth 84 to B£d per lb. the latter Is Id to Is 2d.
