Mails close at the Post Office for the following places, as under :— United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and Am u rica, etc., via Pan Francisco— Saturday, 12th August, at 6.45 a.m. Chrifitclnir h.Lyltelton (via Pigeon Bay), German B.»y, Robinson's Bay, Duvauchelle, and Pigeon B,iy, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and F/idays,at 7.45 a.m. Christfhurch (via Birdling's Flat), German Bay, Robinson's Bay, Duvauchelle, Barry's Bay, and Little River, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, at 6.45 a.m. Le Bon's Bay, Okain'a Bay, and Little Akaloa, on Mondays and Fridaya, at 7.45 a.m. Wainui—Tuesdays, at 6.45 a.m. Notice.—The receiving box at Garwood ■& Co.'s store is cle ired 15 minutes before the mails close at the Post Office, and at 2 p.m. d*ily.
