The Penguin left Port Chalmers at 2 p.m. on Monday, nnd arrived at 4.15 a.m. on Tuesday. She had a fair wind. She brought 18 tons cargo, arid sailed for the North at 4.45 a.m. same day. The a.c. Wanaka left Lyttelton at 4 p.m. yesterday and arrived at 8.30 p.m. She sailed for Port Chalmers at 10 p.m. She brought 10 tons and took 13 tons of cargo. The Alice Jane and Amateur are both at the Head of the Bay, undergoing a scraping and clean up. They will piobablv load firewood and sail in a few days. The Endeavor and Mary Ogilvieare still in harbor, waiting a fair breeze. The Petrel was in Flea Bay on Friday last, and brought over sorno oi the cargo tint, was in the Paua, which vessel was wrecked there some months ago. Messrs Rhodes Bros, had recovered part of the c ugo, consisting of the pieces to make a light trap, which will be submitted to auc tion in a few clays.
