CORN EXCHANGE.
Report for the week ending Friday evening. July 28th inst: — There is no change to,report in the state of the grain market. Business continues dull, with but little alteration in value.
Wheat —Parcels of good milling quality are worth 4s lOd to 5s per bushel f.o.b. ; second quality, 4s 3d to4s 6d ; chick wheat. 3s 3d to 4s; seed samples, 5s 3d to 5s 6d per bushel. Oats—Milling quality, 3s 2d to 3s 3d ; feed, 3s Id to 3.2 d per bushel. Barley—Really good malting samples are in demand, and saleable at from 4s 6d to 4s 9d per bushel ; second quality malting is not vary saleable ; feed samples, 3s 3d to 3s 6d per buohel. Grass Seed continues in good demand, and business has been transacted at prices varying between 5s 3d to 5s 7d per bushel ; indifferently cleaned according to sample ; cocksfoot, s|d to s£d per lb. Potatoes —The market continues dull ; no large sales have taken place during tbe week : growers appear unwilling to part, except at full rates; prices nominal. Cheese and Butter—7£d for the former, Is Id for the latter.
