ASSASSINATION OF THE NEW IRISH SECRETARY.

London, May 5.

Lord Frederick Cavendish, the new Irish Secretary, and Mr Burke, the Under-Secre-tary, were walking through Phoenix Park, Dublin, this evening, when they we r e both horribly stabbed to death. No further particulars have transpired, and, so far as is known, no arrests have been made,
