LITTLE RIVER ROAD BOARD.
To the Editor
Sir, —It seems to me that if the owners of property in the district of the above Board wish to got anything done in the shape of n rond, thoy must either live in the neighborhood or else belong to the Board. Pome months ago I applied to have about 30 chains of a road made to give me an outlet to the Valley road, offering to pay hn'f the cost of the work. I was informed there were no funds available. I have read of several other applications refused in tho same way. I nee by your last report Mr Wilson, a member, apnlita to have GO ohaina ail road benched ; 'iocs not p\v port n: cost j work u> be J. one. This looks like making fish of one and iicfih of another. Yours, etc.,
G-. J. BLACK
