To the Editor.
Sir, —By some mistake, the following appeared in your report of my remarks at the soiree in the Presbyterian Church. I am made to say that Episcopalian, Wesleyan, and Presbyterir.n ministers had united in Christchurch to consult regarding Mr Denton's lectures. 1 am not aware of any such notice having been taken of Mr Denton anywhere. What I did say whs, that in my own district (Kniapoi) the Wesleyan and Church of England ministers were uniting with me for the purpose of conducting Evangelistic services, and I gave this as another instance of co-opera-liuii among different denominations By inserting the above you will oblige— Yours, etc.,
