RARE INVKSTMENT. rpHE Trustees in the Estate of the JL late Mrs George Scarbrough have resolved to sell their interest in the whole of the Freehold Properties of the deceased by Public Tender, in three separate lots, consisting of— Ist.—The RED HOUSE PROPERTY, situated at Green's Point, near Akaroa, being R.S. 687 and part of R.S. 547, and containing 31 acres, or thereabouts, This property for fertility and beauty is unrivalled within the Harbor of Akaroa. Red House Bay forms the western boundary of the estate, and the eastern is formed by the Onuku road, about a mile from the Akaroa Post Office; on the north the property of W. B. Tosswill, Esq., fovms the boundary, and on the south the land rises into a high bluff, which forms an excellent protection from the southerly winds. The whole is at present under English, grass, with the exception of ornamental clumps of native bush, which have purposely been left for sheltering and beautifying the estate. A neverfailing stream of the purest water runs through the property.
