AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, March 24.
Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.
ASSAULT,
Katherine Keiler was accused of assaulting Annie Olsen.
Complainant stated that accused had struck her with a broom handle on the head and arm. when she went to her house for stores.
There was no corroborative evidence, and defendant stated the bruises on complainant were caused by her falling against the door, whilst in the act of abusing accused violently. The Bench dismissed the case. CIVIL CASE.
Brooks v. Judge. Claim £13 10s for fencing. Case adjourned to 31st inst. The Court then adjourned.
