The % "ew Zealand Loan and Mercantilo Agency Company have received the following telegram, dated London. March 14th, 1882 :— Wool.—Competition is increasing, and market is firmer. Up to date * 109,000 bales have been sold. 55.000 bales have been taken for export. Superior clothing washed and superior combing washed have advanced Id to l£d per lb. Long-staple merino, light in grease, crosshiod good quality, light in grease, and crossbred good quality, washed, have advanced £d to Id per II); scoured has advanced Id per lb since close of last sale, Lambs' ma-ket firmer
Tallow.—Market flat. Mutton is worth 43s and beef 39s per cwt.
