Judgment was given to-day in the Lytteiion Election Petition case, Allwright retains his seat, tbe costs going , without the judgment. In connection with the Stanmore Election Petition the Court decided this afternoon that they would report to the Speaker of the House of Representatives that the witness John Scott, bad been guilty of corrupt practices. On the application of his Solicitor the Court granted him a certificate of indemnity. The running for the Dunedin Cup to-day resulted as follows:—Lady Emma, 1; Libeller, 2 ; Chancellor, 3.
