In the [louse of Commons to-day Sir Charles Dilke, Under Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in reply to a question, stated that there was no ioundation for the intelligence recently published, of a revolt at Herat, in Afghanistan.
Vienna, Feb. 14
Telegrams from the seat of operations in the disturbed provinces are to hand, in which Austrian commanders claim that tho rising i;i Bosnia, Dalmatia, and the northern part of Herzegovina has virtually collapsed. The southern portion of the last named province is now stated to alone be the scene of disaffection.
Constantinople, .Feb. 15.
Intelligence has been received that Commander fcjelby of H.M.S. Falcon, while shooting near Qrtaki town, on the southern shore of the sea of Maraiora, was attacked by several armed men, and severely wounded. The Porte has in compliance with the demand of Earl Dufferin, British Ambassador, ordered that steps should be taken to arrest the authors of the outrage, and with this object a Turkish ironclad will be dispatched without delay toOrtaki.
