Friday, January 13,1882. Befohe Justin Aylmer, Esq., R,M. ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. John Wright was accused of using abusive language to Walter Kedge, in Grehan Valley, on January 10th. This was a quarrel about £12 which defendant claimed as owing to him. It appeared he went up to Kedge's and asked for the £2 in an abusive manner, calling Kedge a swindler. Wright was the worse for drink at the time. Fined 10s and costs. i CIVIL CASE. \ Henry Ellmer v. B. Mora.—Claim £13 6s. Mr Henning for plaintiff, and MrNal- ' der for defendant. Henry Ellmer, sworn, deposed that the claim was for wages, and proceeded to give further evidence, when Mr Nalder said he could not proceed without the defendant, who had not arrived in town.
