Melbourne, January 16.
James Maoe, ex-pugilist, and 3 others were arrested on Saturday night for gambling.
The Argus to-day published a special telegram from London, stating that a company was being formed there for the purpose of taking over the business of Messrs Cunningham and Royse Stead aud Co., of Christchurch. The capital of the company will l>e one million.
