Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., RM., and J. D. Garwood, Esq., J.P.
cattlr trespass. Wm. Churchill, for hiving cows astray, was fined 5s and costs. Joseph Libeau, for having 10 head of cattle astray in Duvauchelle's Bay, was fined ss. and costs. The Bench remarked that it was noticeable that at this time, when so many paddocks were shut up for hay and grass seed, there was an increase in fj-.e number of cattle astray on the roads, and that penalties would therefore Lo strictly enforced.
