CORN EXCHANGE,
Th-.» following is tha report for the week ending Friday evening, November 25th :— There was no change to report in the stnte'of the market during the pint week ; business is in a very dormant state. The growing crops are as a rule looking well, although rain would be acceptable. Wheat—Values are unaltered : good pound milling, in shipping lines, is worth from 4s 6d to 4s 9d per bushel f.o.b. ; second quality samples 4s to 4s 4d per ■bushel ; chick wheat, 3a to 3a 61 per bushel. Tha latter is in fairly good demand •
Oats—There is no alteration to note in the state of the market, good short milling samples are worth from 2rf Id to 2s 2d per bushel f.0.b., feed quality, Is 10d to Is lid per bushel. Barley—Th r, re is little or no business being transacted in this cereal. Really good malting samples are, however, saleable at from 2s 9d to 3a 6d per bushel ; medium quality is not saleable; feed samples from la 9d to 2s per bushel. Cheese and Butter—The former is in pretty fair demand,..at from 4d to 4£d per lb ; the latter is in good supply, and worth from s£d to 6d per lb.
