AUCTIONEERS' REPORTS,

Mr A. I. McGregor reports that since l-i.s-.fc week lie has sold two i-ections of 'and iv Mill road, Akaroa, containing 3£ acres, for £350, on terms, On Saturday he offered, at the Town Hall, two small properties in Aylmerton, with cottages, viz., that of Mr E. F. Welchnian and that of Mr Charles Burns. In both cases the biddings were anything but spirited, and neither property coming up to the expectations of .mi owners, vi-ore withdrawn. Several inquiries have been made privately in reference to these properties, and considering the low price and ensy tetuis on which they can le purchased, there is little doubt they will be moved off during the week.

Messrs J T. Ford and Co. report. —On Oct. 24, we offered at auction, at Geraldine a quantify'of busli land, situated in l\:el Forest ami Raukapuk'. In spite of tiie inclemency ot the weather ;i number of buyers a.*,sembled i'ruin all parts of the district. ami the sale was a most successful one. Out of 14 sections submitted to auction 10 changed hands, at prices very satisfactory to vendors. One section (41 acivs) in Raukapuka bush, realised £,29 per acre, and another £28 per acre, whilst the late ■Sir Cr.iciofl Wilson's sections, in Peel Forest, were disposed of at prices ranging from £9 10s o £15 per acre.
