The s.R. I-lawen, Captain Kennedy, left Wellington on the 22nd Sept. at 1.20 p.uo., arrived at Lyttelton on the 23 d at 5.45 a.m. Sailed at 11.30 a.m. for Akaroa, arrived at 3.35 pm. Strong Northerly wind swere experienced from Wellington to Lyttelton. thence to Akaroa light airs. She sailed again for Port Chalmers at about 5 pm. The s.s. Hawea left Port Chalmers for Akaroa at 2 p.m. yesterday, so she may be expected at 5 a.m. to-day. She sails for Lyttelton shortly after a/rival. The s.s. Lily Denham arrived in harbor on Sunday. She is from Newcastle and is bound to Timaru, having been purchased to not as a tug for that Port. She called at Nelson and Lyttelton on her way and put in here to wait for one of her owners who is coming from Tiinuru. She will stenm for her destination, if the weather is favorable, to night
