AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M. ' Tuesday, September 16. ;;■'.;. civil case. Hay Bros. v. Pitcaithly, claim £3 for illegal pounding. MrC. W. Henning appeared for the plaintiffs. The defend-nt applied for an adjournment of tho case to the Pigeon Bay Court. The Bench granted the request, fixing the date of hearing at eleven a.m. on Monday 19th inst., at Pigeon Bay. Mr Henning , applied for costs o£ adjournment for plaintiffs which were granted. The Co'irfc then adjourned.
