Quotations us under, viz. : — Butchers' best, cross-breds, Gs 3d to 7s each i second quality. 5* to Gs 2«1 each ; medium, 4a to 4s lid each ; butuliurs' best merinos, 5s 3d to 5s 9d each ; second quality, 4s to 5s 2d each ; medium, 2s 6d to 3s lid each; best country dry skins from 3a 9ii to 5s lid each ; second quality, 2b Gd to 3s 8d each ; inferior and dry, 10d to 2a 3d each. Butchers' best dry rough fat, to 2f.l per lb; second •quality, 2£d per Ib—r.otliing below the latter figure ; salted hides, 4d per lb ; damaged hides', 2£rl per lb : calfskins, 4d per lb ; tallow in casks, 23< Gil lo 25* 6<l per cwt; do in bags and packages, 2d to 2Jtl pur 1".
