"AJTOTfCE is hereby given, in terms JLM of section 40 of "The Rating Act, 1876," that the Akaroa nml Wainui Road Board, at the meeting to be held on Saturday, the Ist day of October next, intend to make a Rate of Ninepence in the £ on all rateable property in the said Road District for the period ending the 31st day of March, 1882, and that the said Rate will become payable on the Ist day of November, 1881, in one instalment, at the Office of the said Board. And the said Board further give notice, that the plans of the Roads proposed to be stopped are now open for inspection at the Office of the said Board, Duvaucholle's Bay, until Tuesday, the 13th day of September, 1881, in terms of sec. 4 Public Works Act, 1880.
