CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is from tho report for the weekending Friday, August 5 : — Grass Seed.—A few sales are taking place, but the business done has been of an unimportant character. Prices, however, are exceedingly firm at from 4s 6d to 5s 6d per bushel for well-dressed farmers' samples ; badly cleaned according to sample ; cocksfoot, 3|d to 3fd per lb. Cheese and Butter.—There is no alteration in values. Tho former 3d to3£d ; the latter to 8d per lb.
